Offline games worth keeping installed

Offline support is disappearing quietly. Games that worked fine last year now show a spinner at launch because a menu is loaded from a server.

These six do not. We tested each one in airplane mode from a cold start, including after a phone restart, which is where several popular titles quietly fail.

Where a game needs a connection only for its shop, we say so.
